Christmas in July

I made this card for the Christmas in July challenge at Designed2Delight. Since I used the digi image and I didn't use traditional colours I can enter it into both of their challenges. Yay!
Christmas in July - NO green or red
Christmas in July -  Stamp of the month challenge

I coloured my pretty pink snowman with my promarkers, added some gem buttons and a star. The papers are from Pink Petticoats 'Fairy Lights' set. The sentiment stamp is an old one I've had for years so I don't know where it's from. I like this card and I think I'll end up making him again in different colours!

Peacock Beauty

I made this for the Designed2Delight challenge. I love peacocks, they are one of my favourite animals, although I don't think I've done this one justice. It didn't come out exactly as I had planned. It's ok, I guess, just not great! I coloured the peacock with my promarkers, added some gems, cut him out and added foam pads to the back for dimension.

Butterflies

I made this for the Bight Colours and Butterflies challenge at Cuddly Buddly. I've never entered one of their challenges before but I do like their stamps and though it was worth a go!
I use the Sweet Blossom digi stamp and coloured her with promarkers and added a faux stitched border. The bright background if from my stash.and I added a stamped a hero arts sentiment to an oval tag that I cut out with my craft robo (I cut them out in big batches!)

Hanging around...

I made this to enter into the Passion for Promarkers Challenge which this week asks for a gingham theme. I used gingham papers from Pink Petticoat, and Marco from Digistamp Boutique, coloured (of course) with my promarkers and with a sentiment made on my computer..

Legs!

I made this for the Less is More challenge. It's a 'one layer card' and the theme is 'Something with legs'. I used a Jennifer Latte digi from The Stamping Boutique, lots of legs on this one!
I used digital paper, made the sentiment, added Jennifer in her bath,  then printed it all directly onto a 6x6 card blank and promarkered it (not sure if promarkered is a real word, my spell check sure doesn't like it!).

Strawberries

This card is for the Designed2Delight challenge for this week. I like this digital stamp, it's cute and I managed to find strawberry papers in my stash too! Yay! Sentiment is from Pink Petticoat and the strawberries were coloured with promarkers (as always!)

Flip Flops

This card is for the Designed2Delight challenge for this week. I used their 'flip flops' digital stamp and combined it with some downloaded word art & Pink Petticoat papers.

FOUR posts in one day...gotta be some kind of record for me!

Yellow Ribbon

The challenge at Passion for promarkers is 'tie a yellow ribbon' and this is my card. Since I had to make a card for my Husbands work college (leaving to have a baby) I thought I would combine it with this challenge! The image is from here (lovely images but a long wait for your digi stamp) and I coloured it with my promarkers. The yellow gingham is from Pink Petticoat

Celebrate!

For their 100th challenge at the Pollycraft challenge blog the challenge is 'Celebrate' with the added option of 'stars & stripes'. I don't think I've ever entered a challenge there but I though I would give it a go and since my backing paper is stars and stripes I get to enter twice!
I coloured my digi image (don't recall where I got this one from, sorry!) with my promarkers and added glitter & glossy accents. I made the sentiment myself and the paper is also digital (again, don't know from where) I think I was going for a black forest sort of theme... I  was hungry when I made it, can you guess what I was craving?

Mermaid candle

I made this candle for the Michelle Perkett challenge - Anything but a card. I'm loving making these candles lately and when I saw this challenge I knew a exactly what to do. The colours don't come out that strong when they are transferred onto the candle so I added some stickles to the flowers and bits too bring a little colour back. I used the image Serena from Michelles etsy shop. I think I might well make a card to match this in the next few days too.

Sparkle...

I made card for the Karber Challenge. I'm using the image Denny from their shop. The theme is 'SHINE' so I've covered her in sparkle! I coloured her with my promarkers, used my favourite glittery paper and added lots of gems.
