with love

I made this for the Lili's Little Fairies Challenge. The challenge is to use your favourite craft tool. I think the tool that I wouldn't be able to live without would be my computer...then my bigshot!
I'm always printing out sentiments and backing papers that are digital and I love digital stamps too.

I'm going to enter this into the I Love Promakers Challenge too- Anything goes

40th Birthday

I made this for one of the girls at work, who is turning 40, and got very excited when I saw the the Passion for Promarkers challenge was 'Special Birthdays' Perfect timing!!

This card was a little tricky to make, it's an 8x8 cards (so all the girls at work can sign it) and it's fairly difficult to fill the space on such a large size. I used a forever friends stamp and printed the 40 and the sentiment out on the computer. I then stamped the image a few more times to get extra balloons and managed to carefully stamp over the 40 that I had printed out so it was in the centre of a balloon. I coloured them with my promarkers then cut them out and layered them on with foam pads. It seemed very complicated at the time and I'm sure there was probably an easier way to get the same effect but it worked how I wanted it to so I'm happy!

Mellow Yellow

This is my entry for the less is more challenge this week. The theme is 'Yellow' I love yellow and never seem to make many cards with it on.
The image is from BeeCrafty, the sentiment was made on my computer and I coloured with promarkers.

Happy Birthday!!

I'm a big fan of CAS cards and I've never entered the CAS-ual Friday challenge before so I thought I'd give it a go this week.
The theme is 'Happy Birthday' as it's their 1st birthday! I used an image from Digistamp boutique and layered it in a frame that I made on the computer along with the sentiment. Coloured with my new summer promarkers.

Invitation

I made this for a challenge I came across though the promarker facebook page that I'm a member of. The challenge (here) is to make an invitation for a kids party. My daughter wants to invite one of her friends for a sleep over and I thought it would be nice for her to send her an invite so it was a perfect excuse to make a card!
The image and the dotty border are from Tiddly Inks, I coloured with my new summer limited edition promarkers and added glamour dust for a bit of sparkle. I made the sentiment on the computer.

You're a hoot!

I made this card for the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge. I do like their stamps but only own the digital ones so far. The challenge was inspired by this picture -

I used a couple of the digital stamps from the Paper Smooches shop. It was fun to make!
I used background papers that were free from a magazine a while ago and layered the digi stamp owl on top of it with foam pads. I made the background with the digital sentiment and changed the colour on a few of the words to match the theme. I liked the way it turned out.

Butterflies & Fairies

I made this for the Lili's little fairies challenge - Butterflies & Fairies
This is one of my rare cards that it all completely hand made, no computer/digital imput at all! The stamp is from LOTV, the sentiments and the butterflies are hero arts. I used my Martha Stewart punch and the papers are from a 6x6 pack from my stash. Coloured with my Promarkers of course.

I can add this as my second entry at I  Promarkers too - anything goes

Edit- I won 2 stamps from Lili of the Valley with this entry! thank you LOTV!

Bunny Birthday

I made this for the Pollycraft challenge (following the sketch for this week)
I was going to make it into an Easter card but my Sister-in-law is somewhat of a bunny freak.
I used Pink Petticoat papers and my lovely limited edition spring promarkers.

Edit - this card was chosen as a favourite at the Pollycraft challenge! Yay!

Mellow Yellow...

I made this card for the Passion for Promarkers challenge for this week - Yellow & Pearls
I can also enter it into the I ♥ promarkers challenge - Anything goes

The stamp is from Lili of the Valley, the yellow patterned rose paper is an older one from Pink Petticoat that's not available any more (sorry!), the pearls are from my stash and I coloured her in with my promarkers.

I'm pleased with the photo I took for a change, most of them seem to dark to me. I managed to take this one outside today as the sun was actually shining for more than 10 minutes, wow. Maybe it's Spring?

Edit - My card was in the top 5 at Passion for Promarkers challenge blog! Thank you!
