SBS Medusa card

My card, with 9 minutes to spare!
The Challenge for the SBS facebook group was a colour challenge. Black & cream plus one other colour using the Medusa image from Simply Betty Stamps. I coloured her with promarkers and decided top make green my other colour. Added some black in with some die cut swirls and corners and used some digital paper for the background. I kept it fairly simple, I might add a sentiment at some point but I like it the way it is for now.

The reason I did all this last minute (although I coloured the image weeks ago!) was that my Mum got married over the Easter weekend and my time seems to have been taken up with helping her plan everything! I made the invites, the favours, the table plan and place cards, signs for various tables, bunting for the sweet table, butterflies for the wish tree, table decorations, thank you cards, necklaces for the bridesmaids and I helped make the buttonholes and bouquets!  Phew, we all had a fantastic day but I'm secretly glad its all over now!

No lines colouring

this is for the challenge at Simply Challenged Challenges - No lines colouring

The idea is, using a Simply Betty Stamp, to lighten (or make transparent) an image to colour giving the appearance of no lines. I hope I've done this right?? It was a bit of a rush job to get it in on time (dodgy printer and a new computer!) and there is a good chance I'll add a sentiment, once I decide who I might send it to!

Blossom

I masked off the edges of my card blank with washi tape, then used a flower stamp from the Stamping Bella Ketto range (gorgeous stamps!) with  pale blue and pale grey inks to make the back ground. I added the sentiment from Pink Petticoat to finish it off.

A Bit O' Green

I made this card to enter into the Simon says Stamp challenge - a Bit O' Green

I used a Pink Petticoat image, made the sentiment on the computer and coloured with promarkers.
I like how it turned out. Very Clean and simple.

Peaches & Cream

I made this for the challenge at Lili's little Fairies - Peaches and Cream.
Done with an hour to spare!

I linked up my Bear and Butterflies stamp and coloured him with promarkers. I used my spring border memory box die, a sentiment from Pink Petticoat and added some liquid pearls too

Circle Card

I made this for the challenge at Passion for Promakers - Circle cards

I cut out the card base and layers with my nesties on my bigshot, coloured a Pollycraft digital image (sadly no longer available) with promarkers and used a Pink Petticoat sentiment.

Valentines Bucket Hop

I've only done one blog hop (only a few days ago actually!), I've joined in a few but never actually taken part. There is a fantastic Facebook group I belong to called Simply B Stamps Fan group, it's full of very lovely people and the very talented Betty (whos wonderful stamps are found here)
For Valentines day we were to send a valentines bucket to our 'bucket buddy' that we were all paired up with. I had such fun and Corinne kindly sent me an image to use to make a card with too. My partner was Trish, she lives in Canada and I'm in the UK so we were a little worried that we would get our valentines in time.It arrived with on the 12th Feb, with 2 days to spare! Yay!
I really love everything she put in my box, absolutely all of it! The card is very cute too.

this is the lovely box that all my bits came in -

There are so many little bits and bobs in here that I just don't know where to start! I loved it all. There were lots of packs of stickers (great owls ones!), ribbon, gems, a awesome shower cap, sparkly socks and the beautiful little heart shaped boxes (above). I was ridiculously excited when I discovered things in them too! The little bits in the darling little bottles won't make it onto cards, they will be going on my nails!

Ellie is modelling the shower cap, the owl sticker is now on my kindle case and they are my feet modelling the socks!
Thanks again Trish x

Now if you have happened on my blog by chance, then you can see me right at the bottom of the list and you should really go back and start at the beginning to see the posts that everyone else has done for their valentines buddies.

Lost a shoe?

I made this for the Krafty Guest Contest at Kraftin Kimmie.
They are looking for design team members and I though it was worth a try, as I love Kimmie's stamps!
I made this with Cinderella and added a shoe charm. I coloured her with promarkers.

Reading

I made this card for Alicia's Challenge, first challenge of the new year (yay!). You have to use a digi stamp from her collection, I used Alicia loves reading, and use your favourite crafty item on your creation. My favourite things are my promarkers and my computer!
The papers are digital (from Jessica Sprague)and the sentiment from from Pink Petticoat. I love the white wash digi paper and was dying for a chance to use it.
