Ribbon Swap Hop

I'm taking part in another swap with the Simply B Stamps Fan group that I'm a part of on Facebook. It's great fun doing these swaps!

You should have arrived here via Anita's Blog. If not, start at the top of the blog list below to join in the fun!

I was partnered with Maria for this swap. The first package she sent went missing, sadly so she sent me a second package. She sent me some beautiful ribbon, I was so pleased with it all! Thank you so much Maria!

The only problem I'm going to have is hiding it (especially the beautiful skull tape) from my daughter!

Hop your way on down the rest of the list to see all the other delights people were sent. Next on your journey is -

And here is the rest of the list should you need it -

Fin-tastic Day!

I made this for the July challenge at Birdie Brown. This months freebie is really cute and I couldn't resist making a card with them. I coloured the dolphins with copics then cut them out and played with layers. I don't think you can see it very clearly in the photo but the 'portal' is recessed, if you see what I mean?
I actually got to use some washi tape for the first time in ages too!

Swinging Betty

I made this for the Red, White & Blue challenge at Simply Challenged Challenges by SBS. I used Betty Swinging on a Star (the link is to the rubber version, I used the digi version)
I coloured her with a combination of  promarkers and copics. Please don't look too closely at her hair, it was a total disaster from the start and my pen leaked half way though. I tried to save it as best as I could but I'm still not happy with it. Backing paper and sentiment are form Pink Petticoat and I added glossy accents to the starts to make them stand out a little more.

Hey Chickie!

I made this for the Paper Smooches Challenge

This week we are inspired by this sketch!

I love paper smooches stamps, they are so easy to cut out! I cut out 3 chicks, coloured them with copics and added glossy accents to their eyes.

Green Birthday

It was my daughters birthday in June and this is the card I made for her. She's decided (for now) that her favourite colour is green so I fished out my green markers and found some green papers and came up with this. I used my new memory box dies for the numbers and the flowers, a LOTV stamp and made her name on the computer. I had no plan in mind when I made it but I'm very pleased with the way it came out.

Tiddly inks DT call

I made this for the Tiddly Inks DT call. I love the tiddly ink images, and being on a Design team would be pretty cool! I coloured her hair with copics, dress with promarkers and the backing paper is from Pink Petticoat.

Purple Cloud

I made this for the Simply Betty facebook challenge, I chose the evil mermaid that Betty drew!
I've actually made this really quickly this month, I usually leave it until the last minute. I'm quite proud of this one, it's one of the first time I've coloured a whole image with copics, I don't have a huge collection but I think I have enough to get by now. I was thinking about adding the sentiment but I think I prefer it without, looks quite brooding this way!

Rainbow Fairy

I made this for a challenge on a Facebook group I belong to - Simply B Stamps fan group
I used this image - Summer the Fairy (eyes closed) and made the background with an ink pad and memory box cloud die.

SBS Spring Blog Hop

Since the last exchange blog hop done by Simply Betty Stamps was such fun, I joined in again this time round.
This time my basket buddy was  Michelle Klaebe (http://www.inkandsew.blogspot.com.au/)
and as she is in Australia she sent me things direct from craft shops in the UK. I got two lovely packages and a lovely card that she made me too.

This one came wrapped in a beautiful little package and even had a little handmade card from he shop! the bat stickers at at the front as they are my favourite

This was the second package to come and is just as nice as the first! I love the tags.

And this is the lovely card she made me with the image Betty supplied us with.
I love it all, thank you Michelle.

This is the card I made for her -

Your next stop in the spring blog hop (say that 3 times fast!) is -
Lisa Nelson
And here is the complete list if you want to start from the beginning again.

Cake fixes everything

This is my 3rd and favourite entry for the Karber challenge - Use your favourite embellishment and a Karber stamp.
I used Cupcakes Denny and the sentiment is from  Create with TLC. Denny was coloured with my promarkers. I added stickles to the cupcakes as my embellishment and used my MS punch on the kraft card.

I'm also going to enter this into the I   Promarkers challenge - Pastel colours
